CONCLUSION
  • 73% PATIENTS Positively responded to Ayurvedic and they were maintained on either normal or mind diabetic range. (<200 mg. % P.P.)
  • Effect of Ayurvedic diabetic therapy was found pronounced in Type II patients where Allopathic treatment was completely stopped in 19/49 (29%) Allopathic drugs.
  • In Type I patients out of 14 patients 1 patients could be successfully maintained on Ayurvedic treatment, stopping insulin completely, while in 9/14(64%) the units of Insulin dosage reduced substantially from 37 Units to 27 Units.
  • Relief of symptoms was noticed from 7 days of treatment but seem in 78% patients after two months therapy and ater completion of 6 months treatment 98.36% patients were symptom free.
  • Ayurvedic treatment could be a successful alternative to Allopathic treatment. If may be taken in conjuction with Allopathic treatment for reducing the dosage of allopathic drugs, reducing side effects of Allpathic durgs and making early well being of patient &  adding quality of life.
